Injustice

RIP Damini !!! We promise to not let your gang rapists and murderers go unpunished.

She was a student. She was 23. She was
coming back from a date with her
boyfriend. Her fault: she boarded the
wrong bus. And oh yeah, SHE WAS A GIRL!
Six men raped her one by one and then used an iron rod to tear
her vagina, small intestine and large intestine . They left
her to die on the road. Naked. Wounded. Exposed. Devastated.

What’s more no one
even turned to look at her. No one even
bothered to throw a shawl on the ill-clad,
ill-fated girl. She can never lead a normal
married life again. She has gone into coma
five times since 16th December. She is unconscious,
critical and hasn’t been able to stop crying.

But don’t worry, she wasn’t
your sister. She wasn’t your daughter. But
she could be. The brutality has to stop
right here guys. These people deserve
capital punishment for their heinous, perverted act.

I VOTE FOR CAPITAL PUNISHMENT! Please show her that you care. Please show her that you all are there for her.
I didn’t know her. But she is related to me by the universal bond of humanity. From a girl who doesn’t want to face the same fate.

MY HUMBLE REQUEST PEOPLE PLEASE SHARE IT AS YOUR STATUS AND TELL ANYONE AND EVERYONE YOU KNOW. USE PHONE, BBM, WHATSAPP, FACEBOOK, TEXT MESSAGES. INFORM AS MANY PEOPLE YOU KNOW.

DO THIS FOR HER. DO THIS FOR YOURSELF. LET HER DEATH NOT HAVE BEEN IN VAIN.........

Delhi Bus Gang Rape

What a sick thing to do!

Men who commit such a crime should be Hung!

Imagine what the poor girl and her family are going through.  Who does this, do these people not have mothers or sisters.  I don't understand how we have come to an age where people treat women like this, a woman had to give birth to you.  Women should be treated as equals not second class citizens.

I read a tweet earlier, about this and I thought what a sick thing for a group of men to do.  I cant comprehend why a group of men would do this.  Its absolutely sick and they deserve the strictest of punishments.

YOLO

This is just a quick one just something that is frustating me recently.  This phrase YOLO (You Only Live Once) irritates me to the core.

The amount of people who do something stupid or ridiculous and then to justify it and say YOLO just angers me.  No not YOLO you have just made a fool of yourself and do you really want to be remembered as the carefree idiot who did stupid things and screamed YOLO,

It makes me feel like these people have thought they can justify committing sins and doing immoral things and think its alright because they only live once.  Its a phrase that just screams do anything and don't think about it because hey 'You Only Live Once' so what does it matter.

It does matter because you don't just live once you live twice, once here on earth and then after in the hereafter.  Everything you do is judged and you are accountable for all your actions if not here on the earth then after in the hereafter.  Even if you are not a religious person you should still act morally and sensibly and think the thought of only living once gives you the justification to do what you want.

All I have to say on this silly phrase that Drake has made so mainstream.  All i have to scream back is YOLT!!!!!

Half Marathon

So last month I ran a half marathon, something which I have wanted to do for a long time.  My friend was running it and he wanted some people to run with him, I run anyway so I agreed as I have wanted to run one.

Guess what I actually finished it 13.1 or .2 miles or whatever it was.  I didn't do my target time of 2 hours - 2 hours and 15 mins but that didn't matter really I was just glad I finished and wasn't last.  It was a good run I was happy running until mile 10 and then my knee started to hurt, so I walk/ran the rest of the last 3 miles.

So some tips for amateur runners like my self who go to run their first marathon (don't laugh they are serious);

  • Vaseline/ Lubricate your nipples - Mine hurt so much after the race, they hurt more than my legs.  I am being serious and no one told me about this prior to the race.
  • Vaseline/ Lubricate the inside of your legs - They rub and after the race it hurts
  • Wear running socks - Yes there are things called running socks which no one told me about which apparently protect your toes
  • Cut your to nails - Cut them really short, I cut mine but obviously not short enough as my big toe nail was bruised
Some things I did do also which I recommend;

  • Eat pasta the day before
  • Eat banana's - secret weapon
  • Take a spare set of clothes to change into after
  • Do not wear boxers while you are running - they get irritating believe me
  • Drink a sports drink like Lucozade sport, Powerade etc to replace the nutrients you lose while you are running.
Run happily and be free and take my advice especially to Lubricate your nipples and inner thighs, you will thank me.

Palestine

I heard the news that Palestine is now recognized as a official state after so long.  I was really happy when I heard the news and thought it was a great step for them to be finally recognized.

Then I thought about it a bit longer and thought really what difference does this make?  Is this going to stop Israel from continuing to do what it wants and continue to build on Palestinian land? Is this going to stop the suffering of all the displaced Palestinian refugees? Is this going to end the bloodshed?

The answer unfortunately is No, Israel will continue to do what it wants because it is still heavily protected by the US and the UN can impose sanctions that will more than likely be ignored.  No action will come of it and there will still be people suffering because of greed and power which will be masked by religion to present negative images of religions in the media.

I do think that to maybe end this war both sides need to accept each other.  It is clear that the Israeli's are not going to go anywhere and nor are the Palestinians.  So I think politicians need to address their people and clearly define borders for the loss of innocent young lives to be stopped.

I know there is the argument that Israel should not be here its an illegal state, but I don't think its is going to go anywhere.  I have my opinions on this also but I don't think this argument will never be resolved, and the only way it will is with a war that will take many innocent lives.

The land is Holy for everyone and I do think that the borders should be open to all people who wish to pray and see where their forefathers lived.  In a ideal world we could all share this land but we don't live in a ideal world and I know some of my views may be fantasy, but maybe... one day...

MOBO Awards

Blogger world I have been a busy boy and I have a few things to Blog about, so watch this space as there will be quite a few posts coming your way.

First of all I want to talk about the MOBO Awards and what a great show they put on.  Yesterday night I watched the highlights show and was really impressed as the last few years they have let me down and the shows had not been very great.

This year I was glad to say say the MOBO's kept it UK and showcased the immense talent we have.  Creative and talented young UK musicians were recognised, with Emeli Sande and Labrinth stealing the show.  I was very glad that the MOBO's this year snubbed the big american stars who seem to have lost their love for our MOBO awards.

The show had performances from Trey Songz (A big american star i know but it was a amazing performance) who put on a great performance.  But our homegrown acts also put on equally if not more impressive performances.  Angel, Emeli Sande, Misha B, Labrinth, Wiley (who also brought on Skepta), JLS and a special performance by Stooshie for TLC.  I thought that all these acts made the show the success it deserves to be and Kanya Kings team did a great job.

One of my personal favorite parts was Emeli Sande winning all them awards because I think she is an amazing gifted lady who deserved them.  I fell in love with her even more when she dedicated the award to UK ladies who came before her and really did open up doors for artists like herself.  Emeli mentioned a few great stars including Ms Dynamite, Shola Ama, Beverly Knight and Eternal.

I loved that TLC won the Outstanding Contribution to Music, but was slightly amused when T-Boz and Chile forgot to take their award with them when they left the stage.  I was also a little upset that they didn't even mention Left Eye in their acceptance speech.  In the end the performance from Stooshie in tribute to them was amazing and showed how talented the girls are.

I do think that Kanya King and her team did a great job with the awards this year, but I do feel that the awards need to evolve slightly and recognise young acting talent also.  There are so many amazing people in the film industry who are also opening doors for young talent like Noel Clark and I feel adding a Film/ TV section to the awards will only make them better.

Blasphemy

The continuous abuse towards religion is going beyond limits.  Yes I am referring to the film of Prophet Muhammad saw which was released on you tube but no one was asked to remove it.  Everyone was aware of the reaction this film was going to receive from Muslim communities and the rage that was going to come with it.  Inadvertently it gave this ridiculous film a large amount of publicity.  I have not watched due to the sheer principle but have heard enough about from non Muslim work mates and other friends.  To me this is another right wing film made by an idiot.

Then I read an article about a ice cream company who have used a pregnant nun to promote their ice cream.  Thankfully the ASA banned them for airing the advert as it was disrespectful to the Christian religion.  But this ridiculous company who have no respect for the religion are now planning of putting it on Billboards near Westminster Abbey in time for the pope’s visit.  I feel like this shock advertising more and more companies seem to be adopting is highly inappropriate and disrespectful.   http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11300552

This abuse of what these people can’t comprehend is ridiculous, just cause they don’t want to open their minds to religion is their choice and us following a religion is ours.  Just be respectful of other people beliefs and cause you chose not to follow it or believe what we believe doesn’t mean it’s not truth or there for you to humiliate.

Citizen Khan

Ok so I should be sleep, but just switched channels and 'Precious' is on, so I thought Id share my thoughts on the BBC's new comedy 'Citizen Khan' while i watch 'Precious'.

I was really looking forward to watching this show and the adverts actually made it look quiet funny.  I had been telling all my friend to watch it and saying how great the show looked, how wrong was I.

Firstly it was suppose to be set in the 70' or 80's and they used a image of a Asian family from that era, but the younger daughter spent most of the show texting on her mobile phone and spoke about app's she had downloaded.  I do not know any Asian family back then who had mobile phones, even when I was young we did not have mobile phones.  Not just Asian i don't know any family at all back them who had mobile phones, White, Asian or Black.

You ask why has he picked up on such a detail, I did because it voided the setting of the show as it is a representation of a family from the 70's.  They also used the same old tired jokes of the image people had of Asian families from that generation.  This annoyed me because British Asian comedy needs to move on with us, we represent so much more now and they could have brought so many better jokes into this show.  Using an image of a modern family could have brought so much to this show and the girl texting on her phone would have fitted in perfectly.  We have so much more issues and amusing dilemmas which could have been added into the show and represented us in a comical view in the 21st century.

There are so many decent Asian comics out there now who could really inject some life into this show and I feel the BBC needs to be approaching them if they wish to make this show succeed.

Killing Daughters At Birth

'Killing Daughters at Birth'

This SICK SICK act still exists in some Asian countries.  Why does it exist because of other sick traditions which society has imposed including Dowry, Sons carry on the family name, and some Hindu people believe that only the son can light the fire when they are cremated after death.  The sheer expense and society pressures people feel are leading them to kill their daughters at birth.   Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism and I'm sure every religion in the Asian continent is against this evil act.

Dowry is a payment many families give when they marry off their daughters and parents of the groom decide the amount they wish for the brides family to pay them.  It is a silly tradition which has been banned, but due to pressures from society it still exists and parents of the bride feel obliged to pay it.  For poor families this is helpless situation, one which they have to live with and many sell everything to marry off their daughters.

This is not the only reason people abort or kill their daughters at birth, they do it because they want a son.  There is a stigma around only having daughters in some Asian traditions and they all want sons.  But do they not think to produce a son they need a woman, the person who gave birth to them was a woman and who will marry their sons if there are no girls.

Islam is thoroughly against this sick tradition and regards daughters as a blessing from Allah (swt), a blessing that should be cherished.  But so many ignore this in South Asian countries, only if these people realised that a girl is a blessing.  In India this has lead to a big gender gap in their population and in some parts boys outnumber girls by large amounts.

We cant just say countries like India are the only culprits for the double standard between boys and girls, many people here in the UK (Asian, Black, White) who I know want a boy over a girl.

Here is a documentary i watched about this;

Also some musicians from the Continent are bringing it to everyone's attention;

Chino Addiction

My addiction to chino's is making people give me 'dirty looks' and making my friends and family make jokes about them.  I have a few pairs, the dark green, the beige and the cream seem to be acceptable in everyone's eyes.

On the other hand I have a few brighter colours, one of the chinos in question are from Zara and are bright red. Also they are my Favorite pair and I love wearing them and I cant understand how these obviously jealous people hate them, just because I can rock them.

Now i have seen some light blue and purple ones that i want, is my addiction becoming too much?

The Secret Life of Bee's

Just finished watching this film and thought i would share it with my blog readers.  The film is about a young white girl in civil rights America who wants answers of what happened to her mother and why her father does not love her.  All she has is a picture of her mother, the image of a black Mary and Jesus, and a name of a town.  It has a all star cast with Alicia Keys, Queen Latifah, Dakota Fanning and Jennifer Hudson putting in great performances.

The film is set in America back when black Americans were fighting for civil rights which make a nice back drop to film.  A small glimpse into the aparthied that was occurring in America is shown and the abuse which black men and women suffered.  One of the lines in the film from Alicia Keys was 'how do these white people hate us when they are raised by black women' stuck with me.  The fact that in this time, whites did not think the black members of society were equal to them but, they let them raise their most valued assets - their kids.

This however is overshadowed and the good in people and their ability to be kind to strangers.  The fact that colour has no affect on truly good people and their ability to see through a person to their qualities means far more.  The little girl runs away from her abusive dad with her nanny and best friend who had been arrested for an injustice that had occurred to her because she was black.  They end up in the town that was on the picture and find the house with the black Mary (which has its own story).  There she remembers what had happened to her mother and receives more love than she ever had received and ends up with 3 amazing, strong, kind and loving mothers.

Rodney King

I was sad to hear about the death of Rodney King, he was a man in a unfortunate position which brought racism of the US police and police brutality to forefront of everyone's attention.  A bystander video recorded the incident and it clearly showed the policemen beating a black man who could not defend himself for no reason.

This incident showed all of America the social inequalities and the victimization that the black community faced and still face to this day.  After the officers were acquitted by a jury with no black members, rioting broke out in LA.

There has been much media speculation that Rodney was drinking and smoking drugs in the early hours of the morning which resulted in him drowning in his pool.  There were images of marijuana plants being removed from his house but no definite evidence of what was in his system when he passed away.

I will remember him as a man who started a movement and brought to life and clearly showed to mainstream America the inequalities the black communities faced there.  Also the police brutality and the fact that they could get away with anything they did and the system was built in there favor.  Another case of the rich do as they please and the poor suffer.

Institutional racism is not just something that affects america its also alive and well here in the UK.  It is still an issue that victimizes many people purely on their race.

Eric Cantona on Israel

Finally Eric says what the rest of the world is thinking.  But because he has said it about Israel (A illegal state which is occupying the land of Palestine) which is backed by the US and UN I'm pretty sure it will be ignored.  The way of the world - the poor get trampled on and the rich do what they please.

Houla Massacre

What kind of world do we live in?

How can a group of people shoot, stab and hack to death another group of people?

Why does power mean more to governments than their people?

Why do soldiers who should be protecting there civilians start killing them?

What is a human life, a child's life worth?

Today i saw images of 32 young children killed with 60 adults in their village and they made me want to cry.  All i could think of was why would anyone do this to children, how could they take the lives of other humans in such a brutal way.  Some of these kids looked like they had been hacked to death, all in the name of power and a government (or shall i say regime) that does not want to give up.

The response from the rest of the world seems to be nothing and no help for a people who are being brutally killed by their government.  The UN does not seem to have made any noise about the killing and the media coverage for the rest of the world seems to be very little.  I just cant comprehend, these were young innocent children killed, unarmed civilians just killed in their houses.  Some groups of people seem to be above the law but they don't seem to realise Allah see's all.

Syria to me is just a different form of apartheid, a different form of dictatorship for the Sunni majority by the Alawites.  The Assads belong to this minority and it was put in power by the French when they gave this sect the power whilst using them to fight the majority, whilst prior to that historically they were the underdogs of society.  Divide and rule has been an amazing tactic used by the west to control nations and it has always worked for them.  They have used divide and rule to rule over so many nations and it has caused the killing of so many innocent people and still this seems to be the case.

When will the life of a human being be worth more than power, worth more than political maneuvering and such acts by 'ghost fighters' to scare people no longer occur.

You can see images from this incident on my twitter or google the houla massacre for more information.

Lana Del Rey

So this track blue jeans - I was not a fan when I first heard it and now I can’t get enough of it.  This song has grown on me so much and I think if they speed this track up and put it on a ‘bad’ house music beat this track would be a killer.  I heard a ‘Filthy’, ‘Dirty’ dub step mix of it on You Tube but I really think they need to make it a lot faster.

It could be like the Nancy Sinatra track 'Bang Bang you shot me down' - that track on a house music beat was so amazing and I think they could have the same success with this.

It’s not just the track Lana Del Rey has also grown on me (no pun intended).  When I first heard her music, I didn’t understand what all the fuss was about but now I’m like a super fan (over-exaggeration but a fan).  Amazing how one track can change your opinion of a artist.

Here’s Blue Jeans;

This is the dub step track - wait for it to kick in;

Bol

Recently I have rekindled my obsession with Bollywood movies and started watching all the new releases.  I was pleasantly surprised when I came across a film which was actually not from the Bollywood world, but from Pakistani cinema.

The film was called Bol and is a must see for fans of Pakistani or Bollywood films.  This film is unlike old Pakistani movies and competes with best of Hollywood and Bollywood cinema. This film had me hooked from start to end and delved into many issues which affect not just Pakistani communities, but are big issues in Pakistan.

The film revolves around a family who live in Lahore, a family mainly made up of a group of sisters and a son who is born with a boy’s body, but a female inside.  It starts off with all the sisters and their mother in jail and the eldest sister about to be hung to death for a crime.  She has asked for one last request before she is hung and that is to be able to tell her story to the press and her wish is granted.  She could possibly have saved herself if she had told this story earlier in the courts but she remained silent, there is one journalist who is trying to save her and the question is will she be successful?

The story begins with her introducing her family background and the fact that she had left her marriage because she did not want to have children until her husband was financially stable.  A crime in the eyes of her in laws so she had moved back home, her father is not happy and rules the house with an iron rod.  The father battles to feed all his daughters and the thought of having a son who is not actually a son. The family go through a vast amount off issues which test them and in the end the father commits some dreadful crimes and before he commits another, his daughter kills him.  The final crime he was about to commit after killing his son and having an affair with a prostitute for money to pay off debt he had accrued was to kill a baby.  The baby was his daughter who he had with the prostitute.

The story touched on so many issues wrong a right in modern day Pakistani including the role of women, the cast barriers we have, the war between Shia and Sunni Muslims, education for girls, love stories and should families keep trying for a boy when they can’t financially support the family they already have .

This is a thought provoking film and even had me thinking where do i stand on these issues.  Check out the trailer below;

Joy Denalane

This song is so deep, I love every lyric and feel her everytime.  I am going to write all the lyrics so you can read them and then listen to this masterpiece.

Stranger In This Land lyrics

I was the daughter
Of a little known king
When they came
And put me in a castle
My eyes had never seen
They spoke in tongues
I've never heard
They took me to the sea
At the edge of the earth
I journied tempest waters
Reached these distant shores
My clothes are tattered
And my soul is worn
I bore a daughter
In captivity
They came late one night
To take her away from me
I cried and I cried
Oh, Lord have mercy on me
Can't they see
That little girl
Is royalty

[Chorus:]
I held my ground
And took my stand
Can't help
Feeling sometimes
That I'm a stranger
In this land
In this land of mine

My mother used
To cook and clean
For the rich folks
On the hill
Made sure
I got an education
And could hardly
Pay the bills
I studied
Schools of thought
And philosophies of man
Started questioning
The contradictions
In this land
I left the classroom
Joined the rallies
In the street
Marching hand in hand
In the Mississippi heat
I spent so many years
Of my life on the move
That confrontation
Was the only thing I knew
Talking unity and how
We gone push on through
Can't even say no more
If anything's improved

[Chorus]

I'm a family man
With a wife
And two kids to feed
I dedicated my life
To seeing we succeed
The way I sought to make it
I learned to follow the rules
So we can make sure
Our children visit
The finest schools
Grandmas on the weekends
Going on about the good old days
When decent black folks
Be trying to make a change
My parents used to tell me
To live my life steadfast
But some may ask me
What it is that I have

[Chorus]

My Birthday!

Yes that day is almost here again!!

Not long left now until I am another year older, I'm almost 27! The last few days of me being 26 are disappearing and this makes me sad :(

Other people get so excited when their birthdays come around and want to arrange big parties and gatherings.  I want to curl up into a corner and not leave my bed for the whole day, I dislike this day and have done since after my 21st birthday.  Before then I was one of those 'lets all get together its my birthday' type of people.

What is it that occurs after your 21st birthday that makes you hate the day? Before then I think your mind says to you that you will be young forever and your in this wonderful world of pre-adulthood.  Then after 21 you finish university and end up in the horrible real world (why isn't there a red pill like the one from the matrix which keeps you in the pre-adulthood world).  You have to get a FULL TIME job, leave you parents house, PAY BILLS!!!! (at birth i didn't sign up for this) and turn into one of those adults who told you; what are you wearing, why are you doing that, your friends are no good, you call that music, what is this film and why were you out so late.

Cut a long story short I'm 27 soon and I'm not looking forward to almost being 30!!

Brandy and Monica

The other day I was just skipping through TV channels and I saw two singers I used to listen to when I was younger.  These two very talented young ladies sang 'The Boy is Mine', which was played everywhere when it was released and was a really big track back in the 90's. To be fair the track is still big now and I still play it, yes you all know I'm referring to Brandy and Monica.  Now the ladies are back with their new track 'It All Belongs To Me', which can I say is awesome.  Check it out;

Both of these ladies are still very talented and their voices seem to have grown with them.  I always loved Monica's voice and I was a big Brandy fan.  I have Monica's tracks to don't get me wrong, but i have all of Brandy's albums and was a big fan of her show 'MOESHA'.  Me and my siblings used to some home and watch it on Nickelodeon everyday after school right after 'Kenan and Kel' and 'Sister Sister'.  I apologise, I loved Brandy in the show, but Kim was my favourite person because she was funny.  Please checkout a clip of the show below and the track 'The Boy is Mine'.

Got tweeted about this track and I must say I do like it - RISE UP - Check it out

Checked out some of his other tracks to - this guy is deep! The track below is emotional man, this boy talks truth!!

My Murder

So I missed this show when it was on TV, but some of my friends told me I should watch it.  I watched it on the internet on catch up and I must say it was one of the saddest things I have seen on TV in a while.

Firstly because of the innocent young life that was lost, to boost a ego.  I feel sorry for the mother who lost her son and now must live missing him forever.  I was shocked at the actions of the girl who lead him to be beaten up by her boyfriend, when the boy had done nothing wrong.

I was also saddened by the lost group of boys and the girl who committed the crime, it was sad to see so many young lives wasted and now these kids were going to have to spend the best years of their lives in jail.  Like poor Shaki these kids were going to miss so much for committing a senseless crime, but unlike Shaki they were still alive.

The more I look around where I live the more groups like this I see forming.  I don't know where the aspirations for young kids have gone, where the thirst for education and desire to be better have disappeared to.  Don't get me wrong there are far more young kids who have aspirations and crave education than these kids who have joined this gang culture lifestyle, but they are put to a side and not celebrated.  These kids who cause trouble are given all the attention and all young kids a labelled with the same label.  We need to start celebrating our kids and making them realise they are special and more than just a number.  What they could become needs to be taught to them so they can look to the future.  These kids from deprived families need to see light at the end of the tunnel or we might lose a generation of good, bright, able teenagers.

Daniel Bartlam

Today much of the media headlines were referring to the case of Daniel Bartlam.  He has been convicted of murdering his mother with a hammer and setting alight to her body and the house.  He has been sentenced to 16 years and a judge has decided to lift the media ban of reporting the case.
Also many tabloid newspapers have labelled him the ‘devil child’ and said he is evil.
What I want to know is why did he plan to kill his mother?
Why would a 14 year old boy get the urge to kill his mother and cover his tracks?
If this child was so evil and such a horrible person why did he save his brother and the dog from the blaze he started?
I don’t agree with the judge’s decision to let the media report this case because if he did commit this crime because he was evil he is still only fourteen.  There is obviously a mental condition that needs to be addressed as a happy loved fourteen year old in my eyes would not commit such a crime.  Also he is only fourteen and I know the crime is awful, but still he is a child or a young adult.  This might be the ‘leftie’ in me coming out but still that’s my opinion.  There was media speculation that it was due to the violent TV and video games he was exposed to, but so are many other children and they don’t get up and kill their mothers.  It’s also true that this could have had a psychological affect on him which would also mean he had mental issues.
The other theory is that he was abused by his mother, in the guardian article I read it did say he ‘tried to say his mother was a bad parent’, so maybe there was systematic mental abuse he was receiving at home.  It says that other people said that she lived for her children and was a great person but no one knows what happens in the house.  The only people who will ever know are Daniel and his mother.  Because why would a child kill the one person who loves him the most in the world… ‘His mother’
I grew up in a happy house where my mother loved me more than life and I love her more than life and would never even think of committing such a crime.  Especially at 14 I was out playing with my friends or playing computer games, it was probably one of the happiest times in my life, I was care free and had dreams of becoming everything I wanted to be.
Also if this child was so calculated and evil at the age of 14, why did he save his brother and dog from the blaze surely he would have killed them to.  Surely there is some good in this child?
I don’t know if it is the optimist in me who searched for good in all people or my stupidity, but I can’t see a happy fourteen year old that has no issues mentally or with his mother killing her.  I am sorry I just won’t believe it, there must have been a reason.
On the other hand he could be a killer, re-enacting what he saw on TV…

K'NAAN

I just heard a new track which I am in love with, it’s by a young Somali, Canadian rapper K'Naan and features one of my favourite artists ever Nelly Furtardo.  A part of me thinks K'Naan could be my new favourite hip hop artists and this song 'Is anybody out there' is deep.  It is defiantly going to be one of my favourite tracks of 2012, check it out;

I aint going to lie I had never heard of this guy before, but going through you tube I have discovered he is the guy who sang 'Wavin Flag'.   He is also been on the Hip Hop scene since 2004, 2005 and I had never really heard of him, I swear in the UK we miss out on the early lives of some amazing talents.  This guy has done collaborations with it looks like everyone - let the list begin; Mary J Blige, Nas, Damian Marley, Nelly Furtardo, Keane, Adam Levine, Will.i.am, David Guetta and even KRS One!

He is defiantly a very talented young man and I hope the future is even bigger and brighter for him.  Check out some of his other songs below;
