Houla Massacre

What kind of world do we live in?

How can a group of people shoot, stab and hack to death another group of people?

Why does power mean more to governments than their people?

Why do soldiers who should be protecting there civilians start killing them?

What is a human life, a child's life worth?

Today i saw images of 32 young children killed with 60 adults in their village and they made me want to cry.  All i could think of was why would anyone do this to children, how could they take the lives of other humans in such a brutal way.  Some of these kids looked like they had been hacked to death, all in the name of power and a government (or shall i say regime) that does not want to give up.

The response from the rest of the world seems to be nothing and no help for a people who are being brutally killed by their government.  The UN does not seem to have made any noise about the killing and the media coverage for the rest of the world seems to be very little.  I just cant comprehend, these were young innocent children killed, unarmed civilians just killed in their houses.  Some groups of people seem to be above the law but they don't seem to realise Allah see's all.

Syria to me is just a different form of apartheid, a different form of dictatorship for the Sunni majority by the Alawites.  The Assads belong to this minority and it was put in power by the French when they gave this sect the power whilst using them to fight the majority, whilst prior to that historically they were the underdogs of society.  Divide and rule has been an amazing tactic used by the west to control nations and it has always worked for them.  They have used divide and rule to rule over so many nations and it has caused the killing of so many innocent people and still this seems to be the case.

When will the life of a human being be worth more than power, worth more than political maneuvering and such acts by 'ghost fighters' to scare people no longer occur.

You can see images from this incident on my twitter or google the houla massacre for more information.
