I heard the news that Palestine is now recognized as a official state after so long. I was really happy when I heard the news and thought it was a great step for them to be finally recognized.
Then I thought about it a bit longer and thought really what difference does this make? Is this going to stop Israel from continuing to do what it wants and continue to build on Palestinian land? Is this going to stop the suffering of all the displaced Palestinian refugees? Is this going to end the bloodshed?
The answer unfortunately is No, Israel will continue to do what it wants because it is still heavily protected by the US and the UN can impose sanctions that will more than likely be ignored. No action will come of it and there will still be people suffering because of greed and power which will be masked by religion to present negative images of religions in the media.
I do think that to maybe end this war both sides need to accept each other. It is clear that the Israeli's are not going to go anywhere and nor are the Palestinians. So I think politicians need to address their people and clearly define borders for the loss of innocent young lives to be stopped.
I know there is the argument that Israel should not be here its an illegal state, but I don't think its is going to go anywhere. I have my opinions on this also but I don't think this argument will never be resolved, and the only way it will is with a war that will take many innocent lives.
The land is Holy for everyone and I do think that the borders should be open to all people who wish to pray and see where their forefathers lived. In a ideal world we could all share this land but we don't live in a ideal world and I know some of my views may be fantasy, but maybe... one day...

MOBO Awards
Blogger world I have been a busy boy and I have a few things to Blog about, so watch this space as there will be quite a few posts coming your way.
First of all I want to talk about the MOBO Awards and what a great show they put on. Yesterday night I watched the highlights show and was really impressed as the last few years they have let me down and the shows had not been very great.
This year I was glad to say say the MOBO's kept it UK and showcased the immense talent we have. Creative and talented young UK musicians were recognised, with Emeli Sande and Labrinth stealing the show. I was very glad that the MOBO's this year snubbed the big american stars who seem to have lost their love for our MOBO awards.
The show had performances from Trey Songz (A big american star i know but it was a amazing performance) who put on a great performance. But our homegrown acts also put on equally if not more impressive performances. Angel, Emeli Sande, Misha B, Labrinth, Wiley (who also brought on Skepta), JLS and a special performance by Stooshie for TLC. I thought that all these acts made the show the success it deserves to be and Kanya Kings team did a great job.
One of my personal favorite parts was Emeli Sande winning all them awards because I think she is an amazing gifted lady who deserved them. I fell in love with her even more when she dedicated the award to UK ladies who came before her and really did open up doors for artists like herself. Emeli mentioned a few great stars including Ms Dynamite, Shola Ama, Beverly Knight and Eternal.
I loved that TLC won the Outstanding Contribution to Music, but was slightly amused when T-Boz and Chile forgot to take their award with them when they left the stage. I was also a little upset that they didn't even mention Left Eye in their acceptance speech. In the end the performance from Stooshie in tribute to them was amazing and showed how talented the girls are.
I do think that Kanya King and her team did a great job with the awards this year, but I do feel that the awards need to evolve slightly and recognise young acting talent also. There are so many amazing people in the film industry who are also opening doors for young talent like Noel Clark and I feel adding a Film/ TV section to the awards will only make them better.
