Compassion ...
Wealth ...
But Still we have;
Poverty ...
Death ...
Destruction ...
Why?
Because war keeps us going - the sale of weapons and ammunition - they say we have become more educated and more tolerant of others. This cannot really be the case because we are still at war with each other and unable to listen to one another in a civilised manner. We have genocides occurring now and no one is even batting a eyelid - Palestine, All over Africa, Kashmir... will it ever stop?
Because the poor must stay poor for the rich to get even richer, on a monetary system defined by a computer, where no one can physically see any of this 'money'. The rich say they give this much money to charity, they give this much money to a certain country. They are well aware this is not feeding the poor and needy its feeding the 'fatcats' at the top of the political ladder. The money they give is making more mansions for the rich, not solving the need for education, water and food for the poor. To me its another form of Oppression...
But saying this there are still those acts of compassion and love that give you hope in the human race because we are all one race lets get this clear. Our ethnicity is just a label given to us by the rich and powerful to keep us hating each other, to enforce stereotypes, to divide us so they can rule. I believe god didn't create us to be separate races we became them due to our inability to accept people who are different to us or share the same values that we have.
I am also hopeful when i see the uprisings in North Africa/ The Middle East, where tyrant rulers are being brought to justice by their own people. Hope is what these people are after but i am also realistic and think one dummy will move and another dummy may take his place to rule countries of these brave, hopeful people, some of whom have died fighting for their cause. I hope i am wrong and i have faith that everyone will see the truth if not now then in the future...
